Here is the header of the mail. Pay close attention how they try to mimic a government site with a .gov.in extension. Also note that it actually originates from a different domain than what they specify.

Are you pissed up with this kind of errors on websites like Paypal?
All those cookie tracking systems that are not efficiently managed or are too stringent in security violations run into this kind of errors all the time. Here is one example from Paypal.com

What to do?

Clear your cookies and you are ready to roll.
Try to avoid working in multiple Tabs when accessing paypal in a logged in mode.

If you signed up for some class c IP hosting package recently and are wondering how to create custom nameservers like ns1.yourdomainname.com /ns2.yourdomainname.com then here is the solution for you.

click Zone and then click the record next to your domain.

change the NS records and add two A records.

6) Then you will fine “Add a new” at top of all the records.

7) Click on “Go” by selecting A record “A” from the drop down menu.

 Add these details in next step.

Host = ns1.yourdomain.com

TTL = Do not modify this.

IP Address = Add IPaddress of your domain.

9) Click on save.

10) repeat the same steps of 8 and 9 and add “ns2.yourdomain.com”

I spend a way too much time on facebook. Its virtually open all the time on a dedicated chrome / firefox tab. Lolz.

Here is the snapshot of an update from a friend that was duplicated. Posts like this take a lot of visible space on the feed space. While the more important ones get pushed down.

If that is happening all the time I must say it would annoy a lot of people. It is very probable that someone sharing a feed item will like it too. In that case pushing both the action to our news feeds is not a smart thing to do.

I will be reporting this to Facebook – with a hope they fix it ASAP.

I was tagged on a note / link shared by a friend. The content was in Spanish language and I am dead sure this particular friend has no Spanish girlfriend for whom he would learn Spanish overnight. The thumbnail accompanying the link was showed some semi nude women.

That was enough to trigger a spam alert in my already spam suspicious brain. (sorry can’t help). As I have always pointed out, being spam conscious is the best defense against getting hacked and then spamming your friends.

• Alert your friend about the infection and ask them to double check every application they have allowed. Disallow all unnecessary apps.
• Run a through system scan if things do not improve.
• Ask your friends to change their Facebook Password ASAP.
